Yeah, well, that's the 90s for you. The same thing happened in the 80s (big hair, padded shoulders, people overdressing for mundane places, iffy styles) and the 70s (bizarre patterns, clashing colours, big repeated designs, "space age" styles, big lapels waistbands and flared trousers, etc). Fashion, like many things, are captured in time by cameras and we can look back and scoff. But at the time, most people thought it was cool/fine. What will people in 30 years say of the 2000s & on fashions?
